What does the monitoring agent actually do to my PC?
It's a lightweight background process — similar to an antivirus. It monitors temperatures, disk health, RAM usage and reports back to Mat's dashboard. It doesn't slow your PC down or affect performance. You can uninstall it at any time.
Can Mat access my PC without me knowing?
No. Remote access on Silver and above requires your explicit consent each session — you'll see a request on screen and have to approve it. Mat can see monitoring data passively, but cannot remotely control your machine without you agreeing to it first.
What happens after the 3-month minimum?
Monthly plans roll on automatically with no minimum term. To cancel, give Mat 1 month's notice — your Stripe subscription will be cancelled and the monitoring agent removed from your PC. Annual plans are paid upfront and are non-refundable, but you're covered for the full 12 months.
Does the labour discount apply to parts?
No — the discounted hourly rate applies to Mat's labour only. Parts are charged at cost. This keeps prices fair and means Mat isn't losing money on expensive components.
What if I use up my 3 hours of labour in a month?
Additional hours beyond the cap are charged at the standard rate of £40/hr. Mat will always let you know before spending time that would exceed the cap — no surprises.
Is cloud backup included on all plans?
Cloud backup via Acronis is included on Gold (250GB) and Business (500GB) plans only. Bronze and Silver include monitoring and support but not automated backup. You can upgrade your plan at any time.
Does this work on laptops as well as desktops?
Yes — the monitoring agent works on any Windows PC, whether it's a desktop, laptop, or all-in-one. Mac support may be available on request.
How do I sign up?
Click Register Interest on your chosen plan. Mat will be in touch personally when sign-ups open — he'll send you a Stripe payment link for either monthly or annual billing. Once payment is confirmed, you'll receive a WhatsApp with setup instructions within a few hours.
